Cookie policy

The German version is the authoritative one. This translation is provided to help you read the text. Only the German wording is legally binding: go to the German version.
Where things stand
This website sets cookies only if you explicitly agree to the notice on your first visit. It is about one single thing: measuring anonymously which pages get read. If you don’t agree — or if you decline — no cookie is set and no third-party script is loaded.
Whatever you decide, the site loads no fonts, icons or scripts from third-party servers. They all sit on our own server. So simply reading the site opens no connection to Google, Meta or any other third party.
How consent works
- The notice appears on your first visit. “Decline” is just as large and just as visible as “Accept” — there is no hidden or harder route.
- Before you agree, no analytics script is loaded and no cookie is set. You can check that in
your browser’s network tools: until you click “Accept” there is not a single request to
googletagmanager.com. - If you decline, nothing happens. The site works in full.
These cookies are set after you agree
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Tells visitors apart, so that repeat visits aren’t counted twice | 2 years | |
_ga_LHM1ZHHYQL |
Keeps the state of the individual visit (start and duration) | 2 years |
Behind them sits Google Analytics 4. The IP address is truncated during processing. Who processes the data, for what purpose and on what legal basis is set out in the “Measurement” section of the privacy policy.
Changing your decision
In the footer, under “Legal”, there is an entry called Cookie settings. It brings the notice back, whichever page you happen to be on. Agreeing and withdrawing therefore cost the same single click — as they must.
If you withdraw, three things happen at once: measurement is switched off for the current visit,
the _ga cookies that were set are deleted, and no analytics script loads on your next visit.
Your answer itself is not held in a cookie but in your browser’s localStorage, under the key
naylo-messung. It is valid for one year; after that we ask again. If you clear the site data
for this site, it is gone as well and the notice appears again on your next visit.
Forms
The contact form and the waiting-list form send your details to HubSpot without setting a cookie in the process. We deliberately don’t embed HubSpot’s form script — it would set a tracking cookie when the page loads, whether or not you use the form at all.
The Naylo app
The app uses no cookies. Which data it processes is set out in the privacy policy.
